Kathryn Harris - MA(Cantab) DipArch RIBA AABC

Kathryn’s interest in design and heritage encompasses new build residential in sensitive settings and the creative adaption and conservation of historic buildings. At her previous practice, projects included a new holiday home on the Blythburgh Estuary, the conservation of St Albans Cathedral west front, and the creative reuse of Ernest Gimson’s Lupton Hall, at Bedales School. 

Kathryn is Cathedral Architect for Birmingham Cathedral, the Church Architect for St Martin-in-the-Fields, and sits on the London Diocese Advisory Committee. She studied architecture at Cambridge University and the Sir John Cass School of Art, and is an Attingham Trust Scholar, studying English historic houses and collections. In her free time, she enjoys print making and drawing, and frequently uses these skills in her work. 

Since joining Nick Cox Architects in 2019, Kathryn worked at sites including Kedleston Hall and Blenheim Palace, preparing quinquennial inspections, heritage impact assessments, and conservation management plans.
